Udupi: Covid funerals are highly regulated ordeals with a large safety risk. Every human deserve a dignified last journey irrespective of religion, caste or color. Humanitarian Relief Society is always active in providing relief during the unprecedented situation of Covid19.
The incident happened in Udupi district of Karnataka. Where a person died of Covid19 and people refused to do the funeral of the dead. HRS activists came to know about the incident and immediately a team went and did all the final rites as per their religious belief. This incident shows the joyful and selflessness among the people during a distress without looking into the religion of the needy. This heralds the vice of humanity than any other activities.
HRS Activists took all the precautionary measures while doing the last journey. Still the risk is too much and people are selflessly working for a better, harmonious world.
